Like the lone fisherman awaiting his return to shore; I was once a lonely palm in a bare land, yearning for a touch of the water.
Sensuously, she caressed my feet, only to soon tease me by ebbing away.
Finally, I stand now- together with her-/ a crimson pool at my feet every sunset.
